Troubleshooting & reporting

Please, check the FAQ before to inform me about your problem or ask something. May be your question was answered already.

If the answer that you are looking is absent in the list of frequently asked questions, it's possible to start writing of a report.

Pay attention to the few mandatory provisions relevant to behaviour of users when they have detected any problems with mod:

1. If at you have the game crushed to desktop.
   I will have need for the next:
   • A crash log. It's a file named like crashNNNNNN_NNNNNN.txt, where N – any numbers from 0 to 9, which is placed in the game root folder. If it's absent use a file console.txt in substitution.
   • UniMod's config. It's a file unimod.ini located in data/unimod directory in the game root folder.
   • A savegame which I can to load to repeat this crash just enough times on a my PC if necessary.
   • A short description of a problem: what must I do to achieve this crash.
2. If you had a game hung when it doesn't react to the keyboard and/or the mouse, or there are any other symptoms which you regard as "hung game".
   I will have need for the next:
   • As soon as it has happens you must to close game by ALT+F4.
   • A log of console. It's a file console.txt in the game root folder.
   • A short description of a problem: what must I do to achieve this problem.
   • Whenever possible, a savegame closest to the time of occurrence of a problem.
   • UniMod's config. It's a file unimod.ini located in data/unimod directory in the game root folder.
3. In a case if you will come up against any other situation which doesn't meet the conditions of both 1st and 2nd clauses but which you regard as erroneous.
   I will have need for the next:
   • The description of situation with obvious instructions what you suppose like error (whenever possible, with screenshots).
   • A savegame which I can to load to repeat this problem just enough times on a my PC if necessary.
   • UniMod's config. It's a file unimod.ini located in data/unimod directory in the game root folder.
   • A log of console. It's a file console.txt in the game root folder.

I have no possibility effectively handle any problems for the situations that are described in clauses 1, 2 and 3 without granting of the listed files/information. Therefore incomplete reports might be ignored or it will remain without the decision for a long time.
