- the mechanism of psychic abilities was redesigned: reduced frequency of use, implemented the dependence on the target distance as well as the attacker's health, increased effect of victim's bravery (partly based on mod by Wacky);
- was forbidden usage of psi-abilities against enemies from the list of memorized targets (now it's necessary that this target was seen by any ally);
- was forbidden the psi-control for soldiers with non-zero morale (mod by Wacky);
- psi-controlled soldier are now returning to normal state at the end of the player's turn, rather than at its beginning (is as in X-COM);
- the buildings “Command center” and “Hospital Ward” deactivated temporarily until the full-functional bases are implemented;
- was activated permanently and removed the “Hearmod” setting of UniMod;
- were reduced scanner use AP costs and its sensor range was made conditional on the mod setting “Sight range of CAF units”;
- was removed saving and displaying of information about aliens who injured/killed one or another soldier/agent;
- were reduced parameters of the missile defense systems to the level of appropriate generation of the ship missiles;

- the Sensor Bomb item and Personal Jet Pack item were removed completely with all their researches;
- the Stun Rod was modified — now it's device of other type which use existing animation and it's based on tetanizer technology for the personal weapon (gfx by Mesh);
- images for personal armours were edited to remove a human faces from it for the next types of armour: “Desert Rat”, “Beekeeper”, “Waspkeeper”;
- the page with the description of hotkeys in mod options was dimidiated to have the strategic and tactical keys on different tabs;

- Mechanical type of the damage was spitted on two: kinetic and energy types.
- A new EMP type of the damage was added. It have an effect on a tech vehicles and aliens only. A damage resistances for all races were added. A resistances of the tech aliens and CAF vehicles to chemical damage were increased by 50% (if have no present info about chemical vulnerability in ufopedia). A resistances of the tech aliens and CAF vehicles to stun damage were increased by 20%. The resistances of the commanders to stun were made quite equal to ones for ordinary aliens of this race.
NOTE: EMP damage can cause wounds on soldiers which have a hi-tech armor types because highly integrated electronic in it.
- A EM-pulse grenade was added. It does damage by EMP damage type only. In mod options was added ability to switch it on/off.
- A system of the ranks was replaced by ranks and shoulder straps of the Russian Army. A new set of the camouflaged shoulder straps was added. Camo set will be used on tactical missions but normal straps will used on base only (like field uniform and service uniform).
- A MIAB rebalance of the ship weapons was added. In mod options was added ability to switch it on/off. Some modifications were made in it to increase a capacity of the cannons slightly.
- Nail's facemod was integrated. In mod options was added ability to switch it on/off “on fly”. Additionally were added new 8 men's and 13 women's faces (Mod will be extended in future).
- Set of the soldier Russian names was increased up to twice. A statistical distribution of the usage of names was made. (For statistic was used info from Registrar of Birth of Tomsk city on 2006 and Registrar of Birth of the Sovitsky district of Novosibirsk city on 2004). Thus now name Ivan will have usage up to 109 times more frequent then, for example Efraim name.
- More then 30 times was increased set of the Russian last names. More then 23000 unique last names were used. To made statistical distribution was used phonebook of the one of districts of Krasnoyarsk city. Correlation was checked by statistic of the 50 most frequently used last names of the next citites: St.Petersburg, Ukhta, Perm, Velikye Luki.
- A rebalance mod for personal armors was added. Thus now “Desert Tortoise” is good armor of the 4th era. Now “Desert Viper” have more resistance to chemical damage then “Desert Rat”. A weight of the all personal armors was doubled as compared with original SyDaemons variant. (Weight of armor which was less then its for rifle was funny). To avoid overweight you must to give in consideration a strength of the your soldiers more carefully.
- A new slot in inventory was made for head. It applicable for helmets only. Big slot on belt is separate slot now and was named “Holster”.
The belt was straighten and it's four 1x1 slots on line now.
You can be sure that error with lost items from belt wouldn't occurs with it in contrast to old mod of such style inside of Tactical Mod 0.54
- An option to switch on/off enhanced rookies in last eras was added. An alternative variant of the enhancement (from Iskandar's mod) was added. Both variants can be switched on/off in mod options. NOTE: BMAN-variant will be on work from 2nd era only while Iskandar do it in 1st too. But BMAN-variant will give more increase in 4th era.
- An option to tune amount of the soldiers which can be hired at begin and weekly was added.
- List of the soldiers to hire will be written in save now, thus no reset will be more for it after reload.
- Number of the soldiers to hire on every Monday dependent on number of the states which are under control of the aliens (inversely proportional). Moreover, the number of the hires is random now.
- A delivery time periods were added for all purchases. In mod options was added ability to switch it on/off or tune.
- Amounts of the goods in shop were increased to exclude necessity come in/out when you have need for many goodies of same kind.
- An option of the choosing of distance of the attack for interceptors dependent on current behaviour of it. In mod options was added ability to switch it on/off “on fly”.

- A reload clips mod was modified. An Bman's algorithm with rand() for each clip was replaced by assembling algorithm with rand() for the last clip only.

- Some outptints in globelog were changed to print name of the base on place of the number of it.
- Field for values of the Encumbance-mod as well as some other fields were moved on the other places because of the problems with allocation of the Russian text on the old places.
- Displaying of the information on charges in stimpacks and medikits was added. Now number of the remained charges is visible irrespective of a site of a subject in inventory.
- Displaying of characteristics of the unknown alien weapon in inventory of soldiers was made impossible during tactical operations before of the research of this technology.
- The error of the generator of the names which led to occurrence of names with length more than allowed was corrected.
- The size of a font on photos of the soldiers was reduced to made their names correctly located if they are long. The font in names of the soldiers was reduced and leveled to made it placed inside of the borders of the form.
- Displaying of the additional information about the weapon in inventory was corrected both at operations, and on the bases too. Now parameters “damage” and “weight” will not creep on all screen but have fixed position now. Some of other inscriptions in game are reduced. The false line “salary” for vehicles was removed.
- The error of the overlong indicator of the armor was fixed.
